Side Lake Disc Golf course opening scramble Sat. September 5th. at Side Lake Disc Golf Park
September 5, 2009 from 3pm to 5pm
There will be a scramble at the side lake course around 3:30. The price will be $2( same format as Monday nights). We will play one round from the fronts and one from the backs. It will be a fun way to break in the new course. see you there.

The 9 hole disc golf course at Side Lake Recreation Center is nearing compleation. As of last week ( 7/11/09 ) five of the nine baskets are in place. We are waiting for the brush mower to come back and extend the four remaining fairways before cemen…
Vibram has been testing with rubber and finally has produced a rubber product that works not sure on the price and it would be nice to get a sample but heres an article that might help

I was conserned about the slickness of the rubber pad. So I tossed some water on that thing, It seamed to give it even more grip. If they cant go with the concrete I think that that rubber matt will be a viable option.

Ice Bowl Saturday Feb 6th

Last year we raised $875.00 placing us 74th in the nation. Great job guy's !!! With the state of the economy being what it is, the Hibbing Food Shelf needs our help more than ever. Let's start getting donations early so we can help out those less fortunate then ourselfs. I' bet we can brake the $1,000.00 mark this year and get into the top 50 !!! Side Lake Disc golf Course
The 9 hole disc golf course at Side Lake Recreation Center is nearing compleation. As of last week ( 7/11/09 ) five of the nine baskets are in place. We are waiting for the brush mower to come back and extend the four remaining fairways before cementing in the remaining baskets. Also the signage is being designed and we are waiting for material to complete the tee pads. All are welcome to come up to check out the course. I have attached a "rough sketch" of the layout.
